Director - Financial Analysis & Business Operations
Joseph Mutuma
Joseph is a Finance and Business Operations specialist with extensive experience in building structured, scalable systems that support growth and accountability. He has worked with a wide range of clients across multiple industries, developing financial models, aligning operations with strategic goals, and helping organizations put the right systems in place to grow efficiently. His work has earned strong endorsements and repeat engagements from clients who value clarity, discipline, and practical execution.
He also serves as Head of Finance & Business Operations at SIFA MILELE AFRICA and is part of the core leadership team at Riftide East Africa, where he contributes to business strategy and operational growth.
Before co-founding Marativa, Joseph led the finance team at Moko Home + Living, where he was instrumental in developing company-wide systems for budgeting, financial reporting, and interdepartmental coordination.
Known for blending vision with action, Joseph leads Marativa’s strategic direction.

Director - Corporate Strategy & Communications
Charles Kimathi
Mr. Charles Kimathi is a seasoned corporate communications executive and journalist with extensive experience in media, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and marketing. Не currently serves as Director at SIFA Milele Africa Ltd and Social Enterprise Kenya (SEK), and has previously held senior roles at the Standard Media Group, Nation Media Group, KTDA and
KTDA Foundation. He holds a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and BA Degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, among other academic and professional credentials. Mr. Kimathi provides strategic oversight and governance in Marativa's long-term growth agenda.

Director - Property Development & Administration
Theresia Kimathi
Mrs. Kimathi brings a diverse background in IT, executive administration, mediation, and training. A trained Mediator and Facilitator, she holds a BA from the University of Nairobi. She has been instrumental in acquiring and managing the Kimathi family’s real estate portfolio and plays a key role in Marativa’s owned initiatives, guiding property development and family asset alignment.
